Spektrum BASIC

True Color Separator

SpektrumBASIC Spektrum BASIC (former Spektrum HR)

  • Ejection of off-colors / color separation
  • High ejection rate on difficult CSP (Ceramic, Stones, Porcelain)
  • Highest precision in detection and ejection
  • Working width 1024mm / 1280 mm
  • 2-way or 3-way system
  • Optical sorting
  • High-Speed CCD-Camera system
  • High-Speed magnetic valves for precise ejection
  • Gravity fall detection for dry and wet material
  • Option for metal detection

Application of Spekturm BASIC:

The true color separator Spektrum BASIC is an optical separator, which removes off-colors and / or CSP (Ceramic, Stones, Porcelain) out of glass cullet. It is used for applications where highest throughput capacities and lowest off-color / CSP content in the end product is required.

The Spektrum BASIC consists of a light source, a high speed CCD-line-camera, an evaluation electronic and an air ejection unit. This separator is used in the glass recycling industry.

A typical application of the Spektrum BASIC is the separation of:

  • Amber cullet out of flint glass
  • Green cullet out of flint glass
  • Green and amber cullet out of flint glass
  • Green cullet out of amber glass
  • Amber cullet out of green glass
  • Separation of mixed glass into flint, green and amber cullet (several stages required)
  • Removing CSP (ceramic, stones, porcelain) and other non transparent impurities out of glass cullet
  • Additional removing of ferrous and non ferrous metals as an option (SpekMAG)

Advantages:

  • Two high resolution Line Cameras
  • Gravity fall detection for dry and wet material
  • High ejection rate on difficult CSP (Ceramic, Stones, Porcelain)

Requirements:

  • The cullet is divided into different fractions
  • Metals mainly rejected
  • Coarse waste rejected
  • Light weight impurities like paper, aluminum foil etc. should be rejected in advance
  • Vibration free installation + in-house mounting
  • Feeded by means of an electromagnetic driven vibratory feeder (speed >0,3m/s)
  • Cullet should be evenly distributed over the working width of the separator
  • Compressed air must be free of dust, water and oil
