True Color and Special Glass Separator
Application of K9 FLASH:
The true color separator K9 FLASH is an optical separator which removes off colors
and / or CSP (Ceramic, Stones, Porcelain) as well as special glass out of accepted glass
cullet. It is used for applications that require highest throughput capacities and lowest off
color or CSP content in the end product.
The K9 FLASH separator consists of a new innovative light source with up to 9 different
types of light, a specialized super high speed camera, an evaluation electronic and an air
ejection unit. The machine is used in the glass recycling industry.
A typical application of the K9FLASH is the separation of:
- Amber cullet out of flint glass
- Green cullet out of flint glass
- Green and amber cullet out of flint glass
- Green cullet out of amber glass
- Amber cullet out of green glass
- Separation of mixed glass into flint, green and amber cullet (several stages required)
- Removing CSP (ceramic, stones, porcelain) and other non transparent impurities out of glass cullet
- Removing CSP out of fine glass (2-5 mm)
- Additional removing of ferrous and non ferrous metals as an option

Requirements:
- The cullet is divided into different fractions
- Metals mainly rejected
- Coarse waste rejected
- Light weight impurities like aluminum foil, paper a.s.o. should be rejected
- Vibration free installation + in-house mounting
- Cullet has to be dry
- Cullet should be evenly distributed over the working width of the separator
- Compressed air must be free of dust, water and oil
